My Project
In 4th grade, we have students who struggle to want to read. I hope that getting newer novels will increase the want to read! I want to start novel groups within my classroom and bring newer books and different levels of reading into the classroom. Most of these books also have a film or video to align with them, I hope that after reading the novel as a class we can watch the film and compare the differences. I am also allowing the students to decide which they liked better which I am hoping is the book! So many activities can be done with a novel study, and I hope that it becomes a staple for my classroom for years to come!
