This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is full of students who are eager to learn! We don't always have the supplies needed to properly work in class. I would like to promote engagement by having materials that create hands-on, meaningful, fun experiences for students to learn and grow.

My Project

Earbuds are essential for daily classroom usage and don't always last. We are in need of replacements and storage so that students can use their laptops regularly with minimal distractions to their neighbors. The learning games are a fun way to keep students engaged in the curriculum. Fractions are so important in 4th grade and visuals and manipulatives are key to understanding this concept. The magnetic manipulatives can be used for years to come. The comprehension flash cards are another way to reach struggling readers. I plan to use them with small groups during intervention.
