My Project
This project contains multiple different essentials that will support the day-to-day routines in the classroom. The laminating pouches will allow me to create and reuse classroom decorations and centers. Clipboards are so that every student can move around the classroom for flexible seating during independent time. Post-its for our anchor charts, classroom discussions, and note taking in their chapter books. Enough scissors for the entire class to have one of their own.
All of the supplies in my project will make a large contribution to our daily routines.
Organization is a huge part of why a classroom runs smoothly. The file folder will be used to organize extra papers if students lose theirs or need extra they have a designated place to go. A carpet sweeper to keep the classroom carpet tidy. Trays for book returns, turn in spots, and a space to keep day-to-day papers. Colored masking tape to color coordinate laptops, marble notebooks, headphones, and other belongings. And storage boxes to keep supplies at groups of desks ready for use when students need it.
My goal going into this year is to create a classroom that provides a structured learning environment, to be organized and efficient. These donations are just a step closer for me being able to provide the supplies necessary to reach my goal.
