This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I will be teaching 75 very eager fourth graders who can't wait to begin reading chapter books! My classroom library is in need of diverse and engaging books.

The chapter books requested will help expose my students to a variety of genres and book titles.

This will help keep my students engaged in the reading comprehension process. Students will be able to select and check-out the chapter book of their choice to read at school and home. Students will utilize their self-selected books to apply comprehension strategies throughout the year.
