My Students
This is my first year of teaching fourth grade to a wonderful and creative group of boys and girls at a Title I school. They are excited to learn and come to school each day. It is important to ensure that children enjoy learning. Throughout the learning experience of each student, it is important that they continue the motivation to grow in their learning. They will take their joy of learning into the next grade and beyond. Therefore, they need all the necessary materials to make them successful, independent, and confident learners. With your help, this can continue.
My Project
My students need art supplies such as construction paper, markers, colored pencils, and pens to work on different kinds of art. They need watercolor paper to be able to make art with watercolor paints and different kinds of markers and pens to build on their creativity!
I have a lot of different art projects that would benefit my students by helping them to connect their art to the different lessons we are learning in the classroom.
My students will be able to grow in their art skills as well as solidify their learning and have an outlet throughout the school week! Having markers that are new and not dried out will make DIY card making with construction paper more fun as well as make possible various other art projects throughout the classroom. Students with special needs may be more prone to write when given a color of paper of their choosing as it is more exciting.
My students also need various options of board games for inside recess. We live in a region where there are many rainy days, and having fun games to play means inside recess is not all bad, and my students can still have fun and release some stress!
