it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Mr. Rivera and I am one of the middle school guidance counselors at our school in the Bronx. For the last 4 years I have had the privilege to be one of the basketball coaches for grade 4-8.
Basketball is such a big culture in our school and students take it very seriously.
Not only it keeps students out of trouble but we also see academic improvement in the classroom.
It would be amazing to give students some new basketballs to prepare for the new season. We service a lot of students and new material is always helpful. Materials usually come and go because we are a K-8 school. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.
