My students live in a low-income/high poverty neighborhood. They are faced with all different types of challenges both in and out of the classroom. I want them to be able to have more learning experiences that include technology. I want them to develop skills that are needed in today's world. I want them to be able to work on ongoing projects, using the internet daily. They will be able to spend quality time working on meaningful projects during the school day.
My Project
These 4 Chromebooks will allow more students to do research and compete online written reports at once. This will add to the 5 Chromebooks that we have had donated to us already! I want my students to be able to work on ongoing projects daily. Having more Chromebooks will allow them to do this! I will be able put half of my class on the internet at once, which will be great! Their lives will improve greatly through daily, meaningful use of the internet. They will be able to gain experience that they can and will use in the future.
