My Project
My middle school students are energetic and participative. I love them and they deserve whatever support they should receive. As a teacher in a Title I school where a lot of my students are struggling, they needed great support not just in academics, but also in SEL.
Providing SEL support could be through games, snacks, rewards, and creative projects—that’s what they deserve. With the struggles they go through, these are the things that could help them to be themselves and enjoy middle school. The support would encourage them to go to school be present and accept help from others through interactions.
SEL support would greatly enhance their mental capacity and social development.
