My Project
Our classroom is in need of large chart paper for writing class.
The large chart paper would be used for shared writing and also to create charts for students to refer back to throughout the year.
We will use this chart paper daily in the classroom. Not only does the collective thinking become permanent and visible, but charts can also serve many other purposes. Charts help students achieve greater independence by providing the information they may need to plan, draft, revise, and edit their writing. We will be completing narrative, opinion, compare and contrast, summarizing, and paraphrasing in third grade this year.
