This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students strive for academic achievement in the areas of (Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies)They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

These students are inquisitive and hard-working with a passion for learning.

They would benefit from having some incentives to help motivate and challenge their learning during this challenging time.

My Project

I am requesting funding to purchase a small but durable appreciation gift for my students for Valentine's Day. The items requested are light-up rings, Valentine's Day cards, treat bags, and assorted favor bags.

We will be doing a writing lesson that will focus on being kind to one another and how helping others will make the world a better place.

Students are also working on several projects that involve social and emotional learning in the classroom and at home. This is also another way to show them I appreciate their hard work.
