My Students
My students are bursting with energy and have a strong desire to grow and learn. The majority of my students are Native American. Due to the low socioeconomic area, 100 percent of my students receive complimentary breakfast and lunch at school.
I am aware of the challenges many of my students face and when they walk through my classroom door and I make sure that they are all given an equal opportunity to learn in a positive, encouraging environment.
My Project
I am requesting Sphero programmable robots to help my students learn fundamental STEM concepts through play-based learning and education STEAM activities. Using our iPads my students can use the different Sphero robots and accessories to play games, create programs, build courses and mazes, or complete challenges.
These robots will allow my students to learn and explore technology in new ways!
Many of my students excel when they are given alternative opportunities to learn in math and science. I can't wait to see their creativity explode in this new learning opportunity.
