This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is important for my diverse group of 3rd graders to have a strong foundation in math, and math is more fun and interesting when it is creative and hands on.

These building tools will give my 3rd graders a needed break from drills during math rotation time to develop their creative, collaborative and problem solving skills and become great mathematicians.

Creating, building and playing are important in developing young mathematicians. These STEM tools will inspire my 3rd grade students to think creatively through the lens of mathematics and engineering.
