My extremely bright and motivated 3rd graders absolutely love reading chapter books of all kinds and need your help with materials!
Over the past 2 weeks, my class has taken time each day to simply read for pleasure .
We recently finished the book "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" by Roald Dahl. My students fell in love with this author and requested that we read another book of his. Together, we voted as a class that the next 2 books we would like to read are "James and the Giant Peach" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
During this reading time students have the opportunity to practice their oral reading skills, engage in book discussions, and build stamina.
Unfortunately, we did not have any other class sets available to use at my school. Your support would continue to facilitate the love of reading for young learners!
