My school is located in a low-income neighborhood with scholars from diverse backgrounds. Nearly all scholars qualify for free school meals.
Despite socioeconomic disadvantages, our melting pot of scholars possesses a positive outlook on learning.
Each child is unique and deserves quality resources and experiences that will shape their future.
We are a Title I school; however, it’s often a challenge to find funding to purchase materials and resources. Basic classroom supplies and technology are in high demand in our school and our scholars deserve to experience high-quality education and resources.
My Project
Bouncy Bands are a hit in our 3rd grade classroom! We received 9 earlier this year, but now with more scholars joining in-person learning, we must share the experience!
Bouncy bands will provide a sense of relief, engagement, and excitement for scholars.
Research shows that bouncy bands help in relieving anxiety, hyperactivity, and boredom in the classroom.These bouncy bands will help scholars remain focused, and engaged while in the classroom. Due to Covid restrictions, movement around the classroom is nothing like the past. Bouncy bands allow scholars to burn off energy, any possible anxiety, and remain active while learning.
