My Project
Every year our third graders work hard to research and learn as much as they can all about one historical or modern person. After researching, we begin to write speeches so that they give a performance for all the parents, students, and teachers as that character.
This is a project everybody looks forward to every year.
Throughout this whole process we see students that don't believe they can complete such a hard project start to believe in themselves. That belief is worth all the hard work and time that is required from the whole third grade class.
By adding in newer options of biographies we can continue to expand our annual 3rd grade living wax museum.
