My Project
After 5 years in Special Education and 5 years in 1st grade, I am changing buildings and grade levels. I am off to big places and amazing opportunities ahead of me, but need the basic essentials for building a classroom with belonging and representation at the heart of it! This will support students gathering at a classroom rug for our Morning Meeting, Closing Circle, and mini-lessons. These books will be mirrors and windows for our kids as they represent many different people in their independent and partner reading time during Reader's Workshop. The other requested supplies such as dry eraser markers and games are simply to get my classroom up & going this coming September to welcome students to their new classroom..
