Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is located right in the “Heart” of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. My 3K students come from a diverse cultural background and are learning Spanish in my Classroom! As early learners, my students are constantly asking questions, exploring and making sense of the world around them.
My Project
INK, would help me create a Visual Rich environment, which helps provide my preschoolers with visual cues for structure and routine, improve understanding, avoid frustration and offer opportunities to interact in different ways. Visuals are. one of the most effective ways to communicate a message to a child. A visual is anything a child can see. With the ink i would receive, I would be able to help the children to make their needs. Known if they cant do so verbally, follow through without a verbal battle, remind children what we are learning about with a picture.
