This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Bronx students, like many others in underserved communities, would greatly benefit from access to a 3D printer. The Bronx, known for its diverse population and vibrant culture, faces educational disparities that can be addressed through technology like 3D printing. A 3D printer and solar cars in Bronx schools would offer students a chance to engage in hands-on STEM education, bridging the opportunity gap by providing access to cutting-edge technology. It would empower them to transform their innovative ideas into tangible objects, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of science and engineering. Moreover, it could inspire a new generation of Bronx students to pursue STEM careers, ultimately contributing to their personal growth and the socioeconomic development of their community.
