My Project

Help me give my students a 3D printer to use during the Robotics seasons so they can learn how to print a 3D replica of Legos needed for this competition. This 3D printer will help them see their visions come to fruition.

3D printing can help to boost engagement, and creativity, as well as teach students technical skills that will equip them for more advanced STEM learning for years to come.

My goals for this project are to foster an environment where my students have the opportunity to truly tap into their potential and really cultivate their creativity and sense of teamwork.

I believe my students are special because every season they work hard for their annual Robotics competition by using their research skills to help them build very creative projects that they then present and get judged on. This in turns helps them to get over their stage fright and know that they have value because they matter. As a result, they evolve in their way of thinking and may even wind up wanting to pursue careers in STEM.
