My Project
I am a 5th grade teacher at Trent Lott Academy, in Pascagoula, MS. For the 25 - 26 school year, I am starting an afterschool program designed in line with MSCCR standards for MS.
The goal for this project is to use 3D printing to create a hands-on learning experience with STEM in our afterschool club.
My students learn science in the classroom, but there is so much more they can do with additional time after school. More instruction based, more labs, and more fun can be had.
With an afterschool STEM program, we will be looking at utilizing technology to create, code, and focus on engineering skills that can help them in the future.
