Help me give my students a MacBook for 3D printing. Our school only provides Chromebooks. Most 3D programs only run on Macbooks. Students can optimize their 3D projects if at least one Macbook is available for this purpose.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are excited at being able to print what they have conceptualized. 3D printing is an activity that provides them with a learning experience that makes them realize they can put their imagination at work and see it materialize in real time. In robotics class, students are able to print parts of robots that they made up--parts that may not be available in any store or hardware, but they are empowered to construct it through 3D printing.
Our current activities though are limited by what a Chromebook can help print.
Most of the good 3D programs need a MacBook to run. My goal for this project is to provide at least one MacBook for the whole class which they can use to run 3D programs and maximize their potentials at learning anything about 3D printing.
My students are special because they are hardworking and persistent to learn. We were able to put up a robotics team for the past two years and were able to win district competitions. Just this April 2025, we were able to get to Houston, Texas to participate in a robotics competition that gathers all winning teams from all over the US and the world. As testament to their outstanding performance, we brought home a Judges' Choice Award.
