it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day I am surrounded by creative problem solvers and inquisitive minds who want to be hands on with technology. As a STEM teacher, it is my goal to teach my learners how to be innovative thinkers using the design process. When COVID struck, our STEM lab shut down and the chance for students to really dive into the engineering process tanked.
With 3D printing tools and circuit supplies, my learners will be able to reengage with the design process and see the impact they can have when they create innovative solutions.
The best part is, these materials will not be limited to just the middle school students. Every grade level can benefit in some way from 3D printing technology.
With our upcoming projects coming to fruition, this is the perfect time for these supplies. My middle school students will be building wireless driving cars. They will be able to use the motors and the 3D printers to design and build the parts they need. Younger grades will be making electrically enhanced mazes. 3D printing and the electrical supplies will go along way towards creating unique and challenging designs. My youngest grades will be able to use 3D pens to design holders for a Micro:bit challenge. This is just the beginning of the possibilities they can achieve!
