This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has 5 3D printers for high school students to use. Many students feel overwhelmed with the software side of things. I am hoping to inspire them by using 3D pens. They will work on projects like building miniature homeless shelters, public art and custom logos.

3D printing is really not that complicated when you see it in action.

By having students try to print by hand, my hope is that they will understand the process and be excited to use a real 3D printer. I have lots of students who love working with their hands, so I hope this gives them a chance to create and use their imagination. Thanks for your support!
