This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Science to an inquisitive and eager group of 2nd graders. We focus a lot on hands on STEAM projects. Recently we learned how to extract DNA from various fruits and vegetables and they did such a wonderful job!
After winning 2nd place at our regional Science EXPO with the above project I asked what they would like to do for their next project and they were VERY excited about the idea of learning how to use a 3D printer.
