This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th grade students are creative, thoughtful, and eager for new challenges. They have a huge desire to learn and improve daily. They are very loving and caring. After being on distance learning for over a year, they are so happy to be back on campus. I teach at a Title 1 school, with 100% of the students receiving free breakfast and lunch. At this school, more than 50% of students are Black or Hispanic. Despite many coming from low-income or high risk households, the students show that they are willing to work hard and know that education is the key to their success.

My Project

Please give my students an opportunity to take their learning from the virtual to the physical. A 3D printer will help my students create the models that they have conceptualized on their computer. These projects will spark imagination and help with spatial learning.

The ability to realize a concept into a 3D object is an incredible learning tool.

Your donations to a 3D printer will greatly help my students to incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to design and create a 3 dimensional object.

Students will move from accepting information to creating and developing on a deeper level.
