This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students (while chronically underexposed) have a love and curiosity for STEM education. These items will offer the foundation for basic coding techniques and lessons. My students will have an early exposure to 3D printing and will the help of future coding lessons will learn to code the printed items to move robotically.

My students reside in rural South Texas and are not exposed as a whole to the world of coding due to poor physical proximity to STEM activities.

I am hoping to set up a coding club of sorts to teach more students if possible.
