This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learning about 3D design and modeling and are loving it! However, the problem is that we only have one functional 3D printer at the moment.
Currently, the students are designing obstacles for their pinball machines and with only one printer, things are slow-going.
Since I teach this curriculum to all of my students, this means that there is a real backlog when it comes to actually printing out their creations. With the Bambu Lab printer, it will more than double our current output when it comes to the physical prints. It's also a model that is more easy to use, right out of the box, and can print out in several different colors at the same time if we decide to upgrade by buying extra features later. It also comes with a built-in camera for remote monitoring and making time-lapse videos of the prints, which would be a neat souvenir to give to the students.
