This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like when you created something out of nothing for the very first time?

My students are living in an environment that does not allow them to explore their world or their curiosities safely.

With gangs having a strong presence, my students are unable to create things and explore new possibilities. My students are eager learners who are always trying to challenge themselves at school! They come with great ideas and are eager to bring those ideas to life but are not equipped with the resources to make it a reality!

My Project

With the MakerBot Academy - 3D Printing Bundle, my students will be able to take everyday items, create them however they envision, place them in the 3D printer, and just like that, they created an exact replica of their masterpiece that they can showcase forever. This joy and curiosity should be able to be enjoyed by all! My students deserve the chance to create anything they can imagine, and with Common Core being implemented, scientific curiosity is strongly encouraged! The 3D printer will bring not only joy to my students but will fuel their curiosities and love for science and learning!

Being able to create anything and learn why and how it is possible makes geniuses!

My students deserve to have the possibility to expand their understanding of how things work and know that at school their dreams can come true! With your help, this can be made possible!
