This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each individual student is unique in their own way. They all require differentiated instruction and different ways to learn. I see each student that is in my classroom as an opportunity for change in the future. My students are very eager to learn and to make a difference. With a group of gifted students, I always need to be engaging and moving around and searching things through the internet. They are always motivated to do better with any reward. Especially by using technology.
My Project
I believe that technology is important in the classroom. I have had my eye on the 3D printer for a very long time. This is a great way to have hands on activities for my students. For example, in science we just learned moon phases. We could've used the 3D printer to create these moon phases in order for the students to better visualize them. They can use it to create and visualize their math problems by creating 3D numbers and equations. Having a 3D printer will motivate my students. I have a group of gifted students so advanced technology like this will help these students.
