3D Printer Filament for Toy Design Prototypes

My Project

With the help of donors like yourself, our students have been studying engineering through the Project Lead the Way curriculum. We have been learning about designing and prototyping toys to be used by occupational therapists to build skills in children with cerebral palsy.

Our students truly cherish seeing their CAD designs printed and holding them in their hands.

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching my students about 3D printing to help others and solve real world problems. In order for my students to print their projects, we need a constant supply of 3D printing filament. As students learn about 3D printing, they create prototypes that they get to keep. With the 3D filament, students design a 3D printed toy based on an occupational therapy need for a child with cerebral palsy!
