Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our FIRST Robotics programs provide hands-on experience in solving real-world challenges and exposes students to physics, mechanics, electronics, programming, business, financial management, teamwork, and leadership.

These students are emerging engineers, coders, and designers who will be preparing for an intense build season that was interrupted and postponed due to COVID-19 closures.

Students are of all grade levels, with a diverse background. Your help is needed, as our school is Title I, and the FIRST Robotics event requires significant operating costs.

My Project

As New York City transitions back into the start of the school year, we want our students to see the practical aspects of 3D printing in their communities, while they learn how to design, and fabricate their own projects at home and with hybrid face-to-face learning.

Your generous contribution will help the students learn about different types of 3D printing filaments, industrial applications, material characteristics; all while they design and print a variety of PPE including Face shields, ear saver mask clips, and tools to reduce direct hand contact in a variety of environments.
