My Project
Students with disabilities and learning differences often struggle with focus, anxiety, and sensory regulation in the classroom. For many, having access to sensory-friendly tools like fidgets can make a significant difference in their ability to stay engaged, self-regulate, and participate effectively in learning activities. However, store-bought fidgets can be costly and may not always meet individual student needs.
This project aims to provide students with custom-designed 3D-printed fidgets tailored to their specific sensory preferences and learning challenges.
With access to a 3D printer, we can create a variety of fidget tools, including textured objects, spinning devices, and flexible grips, that cater to different tactile and movement needs. These fidgets will help students improve focus, manage stress, and develop self-regulation strategies, ultimately fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
By funding this project, donors will directly support students who require personalized tools to succeed in the classroom. Not only will these 3D-printed fidgets be cost-effective, but they will also allow for continuous adaptation and customization as students’ needs evolve. This initiative promotes hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving while ensuring that all students have access to the sensory supports they need.
With your support, we can harness the power of 3D printing to create engaging, individualized solutions that empower students with disabilities to thrive in their education. Help us make learning more accessible, comfortable, and effective for every student in need.
