My Project

Learning about DNA is tough topic for my 8th graders! It takes a lot of time and explanations and videos to really see how it all holds together.

PLA filament will be used with our 3D printers to create amazing manipulatives to build DNA models!

How much more hands on can you get? These models will have all the parts to build a 3d structure of DNA including all nucleotides and the sugar phosphate backbone. I can't wait to share these photos with you so you can see the student engagement!
