it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My sixth graders are fun, creative, and inquisitive. However, they do have some barriers living in a low-income community. They struggle with access to technology, have financial strains, are faced with social/emotional barriers, and so much more. Sixth graders are transitioning from concrete to abstract thinking. 3D pens will help bridge that gap by turning abstract concepts (like geometry, anatomy, or engineering) into tangible, interactive models they can see and touch. Students are more engaged when learning is creative and active. I want to bring in engaging 3D pens to make lessons exciting, allowing them to draw, design, and bring ideas to life—which improves attention and enthusiasm for learning.3D pens promote critical thinking, engineering design, problem-solving, and creativity. They’re perfect for cross-curricular activities that combine science, technology, engineering, art, and math—the foundation of 21st-century skills.
