This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The 3D printer will be used to help students see their 3D models come to life. In Computer Science class, students are able to get an introduction to many different opportunities within the Technology and Engineering fields. Not only are they learning technical skills to push them to be more independent and capable, they are also getting the chance to work on showing empathy, understanding others and their needs. They are creating models with a purpose or a function; whether it be a keychain accessory or a gift for a friend.

They will learn to code, design with intent, and develop the skill to turn their ideas into tangible objects.
