This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

3D printing makes learning active, giving students hand-on experience and bringing their CAD projects to life. In addition to reading books and taking notes on lectures, students can apply academic concepts to 3D printing, helping them absorb the information better. For this project, I am seeking to use lessons that have already been created by teachers for teachers. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great site that gives back to those who already give so much.

I will use Teachers Pay Teachers to find useful lessons to continue to deliver quality content to my students.

Students will benefit from these lessons by being able to understand and approach real world issues. As students go through the 3D design lessons they will be able to grasp some of the math computational skills needed for their geometry class. Students will make the connection of how 3D shapes are used and how to create objects that are useful.
