My Project

I teach 60 hard working, silly, and amazing students in a small East Texas town. I love what I do. My students love to work with hands-on activities, make creative art projects and play games. They do not respond as positively to worksheets or seat work activities as they do to physically manipulating the words, letters, or manipulatives. I strive to make my classroom a fun, safe, and exciting learning environment.

The Makerspace area is the most popular spot (apart from the books) in our classroom.

The 3D printer and tools will provide my students with a chance to use their imagination and creativity.

They will beabe to create book characters and characters they create in the writing. They will encourage the students to be problem solvers as well as use their imagination. These are fun and creative ways to engage students.
