3-D Printers and Possibilities

Help me give my students a second 3-D printer for the classroom. Since I service 200+ students, it is difficult to meet their needs with only one 3-D printer. Help us reach more students with this addition.

My Students

My students are home schooled part time and also attend classes at school. Our focus inside of the classroom is primarily on 21st Century Skills that will take our students in to the future. We are working hard to foster their critical thinking skills as well as their perseverance.

We are explorers, innovators, engineers, programmers and we would like to encourage students to stretch themselves into the future.

Our students crave new ways to be challenged and learn new things. With this said, this project will encourage our students to expand on their interests and give them the opportunity to break out of their comfort zone.

My Project

I have over 200 students and only one 3-D printer. We have ended up doing less projects, since each print job takes hours and hours to print. With the addition of one more printer, we will be able to print twice as many projects as before.

Help my students bring their designs to life in 3-D!

Having a second printer will mean more designs will come home with your student. Having a second printer will mean we can fabricate more pieces for large projects and print small projects designed in our 3-D modeling software. This year, my students will also learn to maintain the printers, which is a very valuable life skill. It is amazing to see my students light up as their projects become a reality.
