This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for your help providing my students an effective writing area to learn their letters. By requesting these supplies, the children will have an easier time learning than with our outdated and incomplete materials. A book cart would help us organize the books outside of the closet. Currently every 2 weeks we are hauling books and rotating them from our closet. Through this cart, students will have unlimited access to all of the book.
Due to the lack of materials, the children are often forced to learn using incomplete ABC games and damaged writing boards.
I am also requesting LCD writing boards for the students to be able to practice their letters and gross motor skills. They may also use the alphabet robots in conjunction with the boards to spell out letters. Lastly, the sharpener was requested to sharpen our pencils in a safe way for children. With these required supplies, we can all help make a group of disadvantaged children both happy and to learn more effectively.
