This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need rockets to build in our after school club.
I want to introduce students to real-world rocketry and space missions.Students will be introduced to real-world space exploration, aerodynamics, and physics.
Students will be able to simulate a rocket launch by adjusting parameters and discuss the challenges of real rocket launches, including gravity, air resistance, and timing. My students can host a space-themed trivia game where students answer questions about famous rockets, astronauts, space missions, and the science behind it as a culiminating activity to share their knowledge with other classes in the school.
