My Project
My students are curious, creative, and full of potential—but they often face barriers that limit their access to the resources they need to thrive. As a second-year teacher at an all girls school, I am passionate about building a classroom where every student feels empowered and excited to learn. The materials I am requesting—such as [e.g., flexible seating, or manipulatives]—will help create a more engaging, hands-on learning environment. These resources will allow my students to explore concepts in deeper, more meaningful ways and develop skills that will benefit them for years to come. These items help students based on their learning preferences where they can be comfortable and learn the best in this environment.
This project is about creating a classroom that matches the energy, drive, and uniqueness of my students.
My goal is to provide them with opportunities to think critically, collaborate, and grow in confidence every day. These students are incredibly resilient and bring joy, imagination, and heart into the classroom. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and thrive when given the chance to express themselves through creative and interactive learning experiences.
