My Project
My name is Brooke I am an ELA and Leadership teacher at a junior high in Bakersfield, California. This is my 2nd year in the classroom, and I am still going to school at night to get my teaching credential and a master’s degree in education.
I am seeking your help in making my classroom feel like home.
As a newer teacher, it is extremely difficult to build my stash of supplies for my classroom. My mother helped me purchase some of the things I needed to improve my efficiency and comfort in the classroom, but there are many things that I have not yet been able to purchase for myself.
I am currently planning my wedding with the love of my life and college sweetheart, Kenji. That being said, money is definitely tight at the moment and I do not have any funds to spare. With your help, I can get what I need to help my classroom run smoothly and provide all of the support I possibly can for my students.
I have put countless hours and dollars into my students, but I would love to be able to put some love back into myself. Please support me in my journey to being the best teacher I can for my amazing students. Your generosity means the world to both my students and me.
