My Students

What are we in second grade? We are flexible and organized! My students walk into my classroom every day excited about the new adventures on which I will take them. They are eager to see what each new day will bring, and they are willing to try their very best in every activity they engage in.

My classroom is an inclusion classroom servicing Special Education students in a general education setting.

I have to use a lot of differentiation throughout my school day to be sure I am reaching and allowing each student access to the curriculum to the best of their ability. I spend hours modifying, creating, and altering assignments so that each student can be confident in his/her work and feel like they are able to meet the requirements for every assignment.

My Project

This project has tools, supplies and materials for all my students to use. It also has books that we will use as read alouds for fun activities. They have been working so hard and some of these will be used for rewards or reward activities. There are also crafts and activities for upcoming holidays so that we can celebrate as a class. We are so thrilled to be back in school that these tools will help engage my students and also promote a positive learning environment. All of my students will have access to these materials.
