Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will supply four second grade classrooms with fun and engaging books for book studies to work on comprehension with their peers.

The books will be shared amongst four second grade classrooms (almost 100 children!) to use during small group time to help foster comprehension and fluency in a fun and engaging way while supporting the love of reading.

The chosen books are leveled and high-interest so all students will benefit and be included.

Our school has an emphasis on being an Equity Leader so books have also been chosen to build our 2nd grade classroom libraries to help represent the beautifully diverse students in our community.
