My students are eager learners that go above and beyond to learn new topics. Reading and math are the bridges to the world and I want my students to have each and every opportunity they can have.
We are Moore Public Schools and we can survive.
My students are eager learners that are always willing to go above and beyond to learn new topics. It could be a new book or a math lesson, they are willing to dive right in. My students are kindhearted and loving 4th graders that just want to learn. I want to give them every opportunity I can and I feel reading and technology can be a great start.
My Project
Wearing out books is a goal of mine. New books will get a work out in my classroom. My students will use the books to the point that at the end of the school year I will need to trash them. Because I have asked for many of the books up for the Oklahoma award, my students will be begging to be the next reader.
The use of math skill building books allow my students the knowledge they need to learn those "oh so important" math facts that they build on for years to come. The iPad will also be used to help build our math facts. Those small building blocks are the window to the world.
Learning is power and reading opens the world for everyone.
With new exciting books my students will want to read more which will help them in every aspect of their future learning. If I can teach my students the love of reading, the doors of opportunity are endless.
