This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is my happy place. I love teaching, and my students mean the world to me. They are all very unique and special. I would like to see all my students have their own individual pencil boxes with their own supplies. Students need to feel pride in having everything they need for school and to be successful.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase students' self-esteem, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Most of my students start the year needing school supplies. I would like all my students to have their own pencil boxes filled with crayons and glue sticks. These are supplies that are used everyday in our classroom.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic tasks at hand, and not on whether their materials are going to work or not. Proper preparation prevents poor performance.
