This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is made up of 32 low income students, 13 girls and 19 boys. I have 19 English Language Learners who need Total Physical Response and other Visual, and or auditory scaffolds to increase their English language development. The rest of my students are reclassified English Learners. As a 1 to 1 iPad school, the students have become literate in utilizing multiple applications like iMovie, and Keynote . They are enthusiastic and highly motivated by technology, which is enhancing their learning tremendously.

My Project

As a 1 to 1 iPad school, students need diverse tech accessories that they do not have at home. With this special camera students will be able to capture each event in every angle and be able to view, reflect and share with others their experiences.

A 360 camera is a reflection of the infinite possibilities that technology can offer because it can enable students to have video journals.

For instance, students can record our hiking field trip, their participation in Dance festival, their acting in our Disney musical or multicultural celebration in order to narrate events and have others experience the moment as if they were participants themselves. The students will be motivated to be journalists or producers themselves.
