I teach physical education at a Title I school in a fully inclusive environment. All of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. At our school we have advisory class where we meet with a group of students everyday. The purpose of this class is to build strong relationships with the kids and dive deep into getting to know one another and to better know ourselves. As well as get announcements for school.
We also have many English language learners at our site.
In order to continually support our English language learners across content areas, we continually implement various strategies in P.E. to help support their language development. We want to help support all our students in all areas of their life and help them become life

My Project
Our students are a diverse and unique group of young people. Over seven different languages are spoken by our students and their families. All of our students receive physical activity daily and this project will add another level of excitement to out program.
Our program is a place where our school-wide announcements are made.
This Apple TV for P.E.project will allow our P.E. teachers to make school-wide announcements in multiple languages at the same time. The Apple TV would connect to TV that is either in the locker room or in our gymnasium. Teachers will connect announcement slides and or lessons to display to students. Apple TV would ensure the safety of the content being displayed and not have any unwanted people connecting to displayed TV.
