My students need a new laptop to allow more access to computers for reading time, exploring and researching, and Accelerated Reader testing.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help give 21st century learners a chance to use more technology!
Our school is a charter school in Nevada.
There is a class of first graders who would benefit from using more computers in their every day learning. These students are growing up in a world with easy access to the Internet and computers. Help give them this chance to be 21st century learners.
My Project
At this point, I am asking for a single laptop to help jump start the amount of computers available in the classroom. Currently, we have 2 student computers and 1 teacher computer. Most of the time, the teacher computer is not accessible for student use due to all the important documents, websites, and other resources preloaded for fast transitions. The students have access to two student computers for a reading center (listening to reading), researching, exploring for math and reading activities, and for Accelerated Reader testing. With the access to a third student computer, you will allow three more students every day to listen to a story, 5 additional students a week to research and explore math and reading games, activities, and information, and allow up to 9 more students to take an AR (Accelerated Reading) test.
Please help students, who are growing up in the 21st century to learn, explore, research, listen, and use their 21st century skills to be 21st century students.
With your help, we will allow more students to be successful year after year. Please be that helper!
