My Students
My students at Forbes Road CTC are training for careers in computer networking and cybersecurity.
They thrive on hands-on learning and need real-world experience to prepare for industry certifications and IT jobs.
My Project
My students need network cabling and testing tools to build, test, and troubleshoot networks. With these tools, they will:
Terminate and crimp Ethernet cables to industry standards.
Test and troubleshoot network connections using cable testers.
Build functional network setups in our classroom lab.
Apply their skills in community service projects, assisting seniors and veterans with tech issues.
The Impact
These tools will help students gain industry-relevant skills, increasing their confidence and employability. They will be better prepared for entry-level IT jobs, CompTIA Network+ certification, and internships.
This project also supports our community outreach efforts, where students use their skills to help others, reinforcing their knowledge and the importance of service.
